Pharmacology (not the same as the pharmacy) and toxicology. Many doctors will receive a degree from one of the two. And there are doctors who make a program, MD / PhD, so that a psychiatrist specializing in psychopharmacology. And hospitals employ pharmacists, pharmacologists and toxicologists.

But most people, the different doctors and take many drugs go into a pharmacy and a pharmacist can discuss issues and answer questions.
